The purpose of the Ministry Enrichment program is to provide our district's ministers with resources and training to help them be more effective in fulfilling the work to which God has called them.
This task is accomplished through several avenues of encouragement:
Leadership Training & Seminars: Several different seminars are held throughout the year for our district ministers. Past subjects have included "Leading and Growing Your Staff," "Dealing With Secular Media," and "Ministering to Victims of Cyber Porn." In addition, special seminars are periodically held for particular groups of ministers, such as associate / assistant ministers, home missions pastors, and senior pastors.
NCN Ministers News Service: Created by the CDE Team, this news service (known as NCN-News bytes) is a brief electronic news bulletin sent out to our district ministers via email, generally once a week. The "bytes" are short (about 600 words total) and contain the latest news, urgent prayer requests, and local happenings from the Northern California / Nevada District. Pastors are sharing these with their prayer groups, reading them on Sunday mornings to their congregations, and using them to keep in touch with what's happening in the body of Christ.
