Recent demographic studies show that 44 percent of all adults in America are single, and 31 percent of all heads of households are single parents. With this in mind, the District Single Adult Ministries Team is very active in helping to build singles ministries in our local churches and in directly encouraging single adults within our district.

Leadership training programs and special singles retreats are the main avenues through which the district’s Singles Ministry impacts their world. Leadership seminars consist of workshops, general sessions, worship, lunch, and a lot of networking. These seminars are attended by the leaders of singles ministries within local churches, the vast majority of whom are volunteers. Subjects covered in these leadership events include starting singles ministries in the local church, developing outreaches to singles, and the future needs of singles ministries.
