AGmen Regional Meetings

AGmen is a Latin word which means “a driving, orderly movement like an army on the march.” That is the word we use to describe our Summer Men’s Regional events, which also stands for Assemblies of God Men. This summer, a group of AGmen will reach out to bless some of our churches that could use a helping hand on needed projects.

2008 District Children Summer Camps

There will be 7 camps to serve the Northern California and Nevada churches this year! There are 4 District Children’s Camps focusing on the theme, “WIRED”, two Girl’s Ministries Camps and the Royal Ranger Pow-Pow. All summer camps are offered as a resource for your church to invest in the spiritual growth of children, and leaders!

Priscilla’s Kitchen Cookbook

Here’s your chance to have recipes from “Priscilla’s Kitchen,” the cookbook written by Women’s Ministries Department Director Priscilla Taylor. The cookbooks are available for only $20.

KidsQuest USA

KidsQuest USA is an outreach ministry of the National Children’s Ministries Agency in partnership with Assemblies of God churches across America. The KidsQuest USA kids crusade is a 3-night event performed using the KidsQuest kit. A one-day children’s ministry training event is also part of KidsQuest USA. Quarters For Quarters

This is the theme of the Seniors Ministry of our district as they endeavor to help the Teen Challenge ministries provide for adequate and safe facilities for the men and women in their centers. With more and more centers opening to meet the growing demand, the need for funds to upgrade these centers continues to increase. The seniors raise these funds for Teen Challenge “quarters” as churches across the district give of their “quarters” into the seniors’ district account (#2202100). Not only do they raise monies to help make the needed repairs on the Teen Challenge centers, but they also provide much of the skilled manpower to accomplish these projects.

The Teen Challenge facilities are in better condition today than ever before, due in part to the sacrificial efforts of our seniors. While many needs remain, the Teen Challenge students are now able to enjoy safer, cleaner quarters while undergoing the Christian Life-training program they so desperately need.

To all the pastors and the seniors of this district, please accept the wholehearted appreciation of the Teen Challenge students, staff, and board members of Northern California and Nevada for your ongoing sacrifice and labors of love.
