This year’s minister’s retreat promises to be an encouraging and exciting event for our ministers. The retreat is scheduled for September 13-15 at the Embassy Suites on Monterey Bay.

Author and speaker Jeff Lucas travels internationally in a ministry of Bible teaching which carries a specific vision to encourage and equip the church.  Originally a church planting pastor, Jeff understands the dynamics of local church life and has a desire to “build” rather than simply “bless” as he teaches and preaches.  To learn more about Jeff Lucas please visit his web site: www.jefflucas.org. Activity Information (Golf Tournament)

The 2006 Minister’s Retreat Golf Tournament will begin Thursday morning at 12:00 p.m. on September 14th. Cost is only $36 per person and includes green fees, golf carts and tournament services. The location is the Rancho Canada Golf Course, East Course (The West Course was played last year.) Tournament registrations MUST be mailed into the CDE office on the form below by the deadline of August 14, 2005. There will be no walk in registration at the retreat. Sorry, no exceptions.

A new activity is being offered this year: Bicycling. Many will be bringing their bicycles and taking a ride around the beautiful Monterey Bay on Thursday afternoon. Bring your bike(s) and enjoy the scenery! (This is an unorganized event)
