This is the theme of the Seniors Ministry of our district as they endeavor to help the Teen Challenge ministries provide for adequate and safe facilities for the men and women in their centers. With more and more centers opening to meet the growing demand, the need for funds to upgrade these centers continues to increase. The seniors raise these funds for Teen Challenge “quarters” as churches across the district give of their “quarters” into the seniors’ district account (#2202100). Not only do they raise monies to help make the needed repairs on the Teen Challenge centers, but they also provide much of the skilled manpower to accomplish these projects.
The Teen Challenge facilities are in better condition today than ever before, due in part to the sacrificial efforts of our seniors. While many needs remain, the Teen Challenge students are now able to enjoy safer, cleaner quarters while undergoing the Christian Life-training program they so desperately need.
To all the pastors and the seniors of this district, please accept the wholehearted appreciation of the Teen Challenge students, staff, and board members of Northern California and Nevada for your ongoing sacrifice and labors of love.
