The District Resource Center received a message from Atwater Assembly of God in Atwater, California that Pastor Rick Pruett and Pastor Dennis Sylvester of First Assembly of God in Madera, California were in an eight-car accident on Thursday, February 16.  The pastors and others from their churches were in Tucson, AZ traveling in at least three vehicles on a missions trip to Mexico when the accident took place.  All three vehicles were totaled in the accident.  The parents of Pastor Sylvester were tragically killed. Atwater Assembly of God Pastor Rick Pruiet is currently in the hospital.  Preliminary reports are that he has no broken bones.
