Oh Father,

I thank you for this Christmas season!  To think that you would send your Son, your only Son as a gift and sacrifice for all mankind is beyond my comprehension!  How can it be that the shining star of heaven would descend to take on the cloak of frail humanity that we might be redeemed from the curse of sin?

I thank you for the ministers and churches in this district. Remember, oh Lord, their faithfulness and commitment to you this season.  Many serve you through personal sacrifice; all serve you with joy and gladness.  May they know Your extraordinary blessing and Your gracious gift of divine love in this season of giving.  As they give to You, give back pressed down, shaken together and running over.

Oh God, let them know how much you love them, even as I let them know how much I love them.  Come Immanuel to their hearts, their homes, their ministries, their churches, I pray – In Jesus Name!
