This year’s Honorbound Men’s Conference, with a theme of “Teammates,” is scheduled for March 23-24 at Calvary Temple in Concord, California.
With several dynamic speakers, golf tournament, motorcycle run, shooting venues, and the ever-popular car and motorcyle show, this year’s conference promises to be an exciting time of discipleship and fellowship!

Speakers
Randy Greer
Randy Greer is the District HonorBound Men's Ministries Director. He serves in this part-time position while continuing to serve full-time as Senior Pastor of Trinity Life Center in Las Vegas, a role he has filled since May of 1995. He is a 1978 graduate of Vanguard University, and he spent three years playing professional baseball as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies organization. For ten years, he was a youth pastor in Southern California before coming to Las Vegas as Senior Associate Pastor in 1990. He is married to Pam, the love of his life, and together they have raised three wonderful daughters — Brandie, Ashley and Lindsey. Brandie married Marlon Watson in the summer of 2000. In October 2003, they blessed Randy & Pam with granddaughter Jaylie Ashlin and in November of 2005 with grandson Camden Anthony.
Denny Duron
Denny Duron is a communicator, motivator and student of God's Word. His burning desire is to "Awaken Destiny One Heart At A Time." Denny is the pastor of First Assembly of God in Shreveport, Louisiana. Denny is known as "Coach Duron." He has been a coach for the last three decades on the college, professional, and high school levels. He is the founder of the Evangel University football program in Springfield, Missouri where he served for 7 years. Denny also began the Evangel Christian Academy football program at Shreveport, Louisiana that has achieved national prominence. He now serves as Chancellor of Evangel Christian Academy along with his pastoral duties. The outreaches of First Assembly in Shreveport are expansive and include: Winner’s Circle, a camp for inner-city children, a full service food and clothing center, and a live-in facility ministering to men with addictions. He is married to DeAnza and is the father of six children: Destiny 23, DawnChere’ 20, Denny Rodney 19, Dez 15, David Dee 12 and Dakota 10.
Glen Berteau
Glen Berteau is Senior Pastor of Calvary Temple Worship Center in Modesto, a church of 3000. He serves as President of Global Bible Institute, a Bible school with majors in children, youth, music, missions, counseling and pastoral ministries. Glen has a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministries and Graduate Teacher Certificate from Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, IN. He is the author of the books Strategies for Advancing Youth Ministry and When God Shakes a City. Glen and his wife, Debbie, have three grown children: Kelli Williams, Christy Johnson and Micah Berteau. His daughters are married to pastors at Calvary Temple, where they also serve. Micah is attending college and also serves at Calvary Temple.
Jim Braddy
Jim Braddy currently serves as Superintendent for the Northern California and Nevada District of the Assemblies of God. Prior to his election at the 2004 District Council, he served as the Assistant Superintendent/World Missions Director for seven years and as Director of Church Development and Education for five years. Ordained since 1970, he has been a part of the Northern California Nevada District since 1982. Previously Reverend Braddy served in various pastoral positions throughout California, Alaska and the Northwest, including three years as Campus Life Director for Youth for Christ in Portland, Oregon. Jim and his wife, Judi, met at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and have been married for 37 years. Together they have three grown sons and four amazing grandchildren.
Friday Activities
Golf Tournament
The Lone Tree Golf Course is hte perfect golf course for all skill levels. The huge, tree-lined fairways and graciously placed bunkers make this course one-of-a-kind. This par-72 course offers four sets of tees to challenge your skills. The format will be four-man scramble and golfers of all levels are encouraged to participate. Prior registration is required, no later than March 1. Collared shirts and pants or shorts in good condition are required. Soft spikes only. Cost is $57.00.
Shooting Center
- Pistol competition, $13.00 per person
- Rifle competition, $13.00 per person
United Sportsmen Inc. is located minutes from Calvary Temple at 4700 Evora Road. Eye and ear protection required. A preliminary 15-minute safety session is mandatory for those participating. Pre-registration is required by March 1.
Run for the Lost — 2007 NCN HBMM Conference Motorcycle Run
Get guys from your riding club involved! A pre-run safety meeting is required to participate in the run. Cost is $20.00 with all excess funds going toward Light for the Lost, the Assemblies of God men's ministry outreach that provides funding for printing evangelism literature and Bibles. We need 15 riders pre-registered by March 1 to avoid ride cancellation.
Saturday Activities
Car & Motorcycle Show
The 13th Annual Show and Shine Car Show will be held rain or shine! Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and judging concludes at 12:00 noon. There will be dash plaques and trophies in various categories. All those who own motorcycles are invited to show them off as part of the 13th Annual Show and Shine. A designated area will be marked for motorcycles. Registration fee is $15.00. Pre-registration is required by March 1.
