Our Newly Appointed World Missionaries
Maika and Tina Natua
Maika was born and raised in Suva, Fiji. Although being raised Catholic, he received Christ at the age of 17 at an Assemblies of God Evangelistic Crusade. He always knew he had a calling for missions. Maika served as youth leader and treasurer at his local church. Five years later he was offered an opportunity to come to the USA to visit his mom. While here he attended Arena Fijian Assembly of God in Sacramento. Soon he began working with the youth and then became an Associate Pastor for seven years.
Tina was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Receiving Christ at the age of seven in children’s church she was greatly impacted by missionaries visiting the church. As a child she knew that she was called into missions having a burden for other children to come to Christ. Tina graduated from Capital Bible College, interned with Kings Castle in El Salvador, served as children’s pastor in East Los Angeles, and later at Arena Fijian Assembly of God.
Maika and Tina met when Tina was itinerating to go to Fiji. They were married July 29, 2006, and are newly appointed missionaries to the island of Trinidad which is located seven miles off the coast of Venezuela. They are looking forward to working with the national AG leadership establishing ministries and outreaches among the Hindu people.
