The governance of District Affiliated Churches is shared between the local Pastor, the Advisory Committee, the District Assistant Superintendent, and the District Presbytery. Each of the stakeholders has a defined role and responsibility. It is important that the local Pastor and Advisory Committee familiarize themselves with the Rules of Order, so that they can fulfill their assigned role and responsibility, and not exceed their authority.
