Calling: In the winter of 1996, during an altar call at winter camp, the Lord began to show me what He had planned for my life. The Lord placed a burden on my heart for the hurting and the lost. He placed a passion in my heart for the people of this world that He longs to have relationship with. That night at the age of 13 the Lord placed calling on my life to serve him in ministry. From that point on I began to prepare myself for the life that the Lord was calling me to live. I became a leader in my youth ministry taking part in many different ministries and outreaches. Later I became an intern at my church and was able to learn and experience real ministry hands on.  Through this the Lord only confirmed his calling on my life.

MINISTRY EXPERIENCE:
Sunset Community Church Livermore, Ca
Student Ministries Pastor                                         September 2008—Present  
-Inherited a youth ministry averaging 20 students and it currently averages 35-40 students.
-Planned and led weekly youth services and Sunday school classes.
-Organized and trained a team of college and adult leaders.
-Implemented student leadership program.
-Prepared and led youth activities, outreaches, and camps.
-Actively counseled students and their families.
-Taught a suicide awareness/prevention class in two local high schools.
-Involved in other ministry on local school campuses. Including: the Every 15 Minutes program and campus clubs.
-Involved in the organization of all church community outreach functions.
-Led 4th of July community event ministering to over 400 people and over-saw 40 volunteers. 
-Organized youth fundraisers.
-Served the Pastor in any way possible. Including: hospital visitation, pulpit ministry and other church projects.

-Assisted the senior pastor in successfully planting the church in Lees Summit, Mo.
