Amazing Love 2008-2009 Women’s Ministries Annual Project

by AGNCN Staff

And now abide… Faith, Hope, Love, these three;
.........but the greatest of these is Love!
1 Corinthians 13:13

The amazing love of God is in fact ‘the greatest.’

As we read the Scriptures we understand that His direction to Love one another is not a suggestion, it is a command.  He hasn’t said, “If you have time,” or “If you feel like it,” but rather He is telling us that even as He loves us, we are to follow His model to to love them.  Loving your neighbor as yourself may not be easy, but it is necessary if we are to follow God’s plan.

The women of Northern California and Nevada have taken this direction from God seriously. For nearly 60 years they have been giving to projects around the world.  This year is no exception!

In 2008-2009, we are excited to assist our missionaries around the world as they tell of God’s Amazing Love.

In 2008-2009, we will assist:

$25,000 Ralph & Francis Hiatt, Argentina

Instituto Biblico Rio de la Plato is overflowing with stuents. They began ion 1979 with 53 resident students. Today there are 458 resident students, plus another 791 non-resident students in various programs.  The money we give will help to provide new dormitory and living space for this active and growing student body.

Builder’s International is completing a warehouse in Springfield, to facilitate their construction projects around the world.  The office space is already in use, but a loading dock along with some other construction is still neeeded.  Russ Turney, Regional Director of Asia Pacific Region, recently expressed how valuable the work of Builder’s International is to our Missionaries. Projects are staged at this facility that will benefit missions worldwide.
