Paul calls Timothy’s faith an ‘honest’ and ‘rich’ faith.  Have you given any thought to your own personal heritage? What will you be passing on? 

Paul says Timothy’s faith was ‘handed down from his grandmother Lois and to his mother Eunice, and then to Timothy.’

The women who began the NCN Women’s Missionary Council 70 years ago were just like us.  They were women of God.  Women who cared, prayed and got things done!  The women of Northern California and Nevada are still taking care of others around the world.

In 2009-2010, we are excited to assist our missionaries around the world as we pass on our Heritage!

In 2009-2010, we will assist:

$10,000 Scott & Karen Hanson, Tanzania
TANZANIAN AFRICAN MISSIONARIES CHILDREN’S SCHOLARSHIP FUND.  This will start a fund to assist in the education of the children of Tanzanian Aftrican missionaries.

$10,000 Mary Jane Kendrick, Paraguay
PARAGUAY BIBLE SCHOOL, MINISTRY WIVES SCHOLARSHIP FUND.  Many local pastor’s wives at the Paraguay Bible school would like to take classes, but can’t afford to send both their husbands and themselves to school.  This will start a fund for scholarships to allow these women to attend classes.

$25,000 Jeremy and Deborah Anderson, Turlock, CA
STANISLAUS CHI ALPHA MINISTRY CENTER.  We will assist in furnishing three condos that are rented to international students. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce them to Christ.

$20,000 Dana and Randy Rowe, Alum Rock, CA,
SOUTH BAY TEEN CHALLENGE.  The Ashbury Family Center has been in use for a very long time and is in need of some repairs and remodeling.  We will be adopting to aprartments to get the job done.

$10,000 Dr. David DeGarmo, Phoenix, AZ
AMERICAN INDIAN COLLEGE.  This is the only fully accredited Bible college in the nation, specifically for Native Americans.

$25,000 Rev. Lewis Shelton, Santa Cruz, CA
BETHANY UNIVERSITY.  Our university has a new president and we are excited to be able to assist him.

$10,000 Dr. Samuel Huddleston, NCN A/G
HOME MISSIONARY CHURCH REPAIR FUND.  We are pleased to assist with this much needed fund, that helps smaller churches in our District ,who are unable to pay for needed repairs to their buildings.
