The “LEADERSHIP DRIVE IN” has quickly become a favorite among the youth pastors and youth workers of Northern California and Nevada. The “DRIVE IN” is a time of fellowship, and valuable leadership training. The format is simple - a teaching will be delivered by our District Student Ministries Director or special guest speaker and depending upon the location and time of the Drive In you choose to attend, a free lunch will be provided either before or after the teaching session.  The format may be simple but the results have been nothing short of tremendous

The “DRIVE IN” is specifically designed to meet the everyday leadership needs of the youth minister. We have covered topics such as:
Developing a personal growth program
Mastering the mid-week service
Equipping your youth staff
Attitude
The youth pastor / senior pastor relationship.

As you can see, the topics are relevant and of the variety that you don’t learn in Bible college. The “DRIVE IN” is one of the main avenues in which the District Youth Department is able to fulfill its purpose - building and equipping youth pastors. NCN Student Ministries is dedicated to the success of each youth minister. This can only be accomplished with all out efforts such as the “DRIVE IN”.

A secondary value has come from these times of training and equipping. Great times of fellowship and commradery have developed. The friendships that have developed are destroying competition and isolation within our district. Each time we get together the conversation and interaction levels seem to raise in volume and quality.

The “DRIVE IN” is available to you at no cost. The slogan, “Drive a little and get a lot” has proven itself over and over again. If you are interested in joining us at the next “DRIVE IN” please contact NCN Student Ministries for more details.
