2008 District Children Summer Camps

There will be 7 camps to serve the Northern California and Nevada churches this year! There are 4 District Children’s Camps focusing on the theme, “WIRED”, two Girl’s Ministries Camps and the Royal Ranger Pow-Pow. All summer camps are offered as a resource for your church to invest in the spiritual growth of children, and leaders!

Oasis - 2008 Missions Project

You can make a difference! Jesus said that a cup of water given in His name would not return unrewarded. By participating in this year’s District–wide missions project, the Africa Oasis project, you can bring both fresh and living water to an African Village.

HBMM Annual Ultimate 5 Day-4 Night Mexico Retreat

Join the men of Northern California-Nevada AG churches for a phenomenal five days and four nights of relaxation, ministry, fellowship and fun. We will leave for beautiful Ensenada, Mexico on Sunday, June 29th, and return Thursday, July 3rd, 2008. This trip will be action packed, all at an affordable price.

We’re Going to the Holy Land!

Dr. Jay and Teri Herndon, along with Robert and Fanita Douglas, will be leading a tour group to Israel and Jordan in October of 2008. Registration for this trip is open to ministers and their spouses until April 1; after that, available places will be open to other family and friends. Cost for the trip is $2,750 for the Israel portion, and $495 for the optional trip to Jordan/Petra. The ministers who participated in our 2006 tour raved about their experiences! Priscilla’s Kitchen Cookbook

Here’s your chance to have recipes from “Priscilla’s Kitchen,” the cookbook written by Women’s Ministries Department Director Priscilla Taylor. The cookbooks are available for only $20.

Our Superintendent James Braddy, upon commencement of his term of office in 2004, asked for prayer partners who would specifically remember him as he leads this District. Many responded to pray together with him for God’s wisdom in leadership. Now, Superintendent Braddy wants to take this partnership to the next level.

Superintendent Braddy believes that the ministers of this district should lead the way in praying for one another. When we pray for those who
need Christ in our ministry area and for those who minister to them, then we can expect God to move!

This new prayer emphasis calls upon those who will commit to being a part of this prayer team to pray in three distinct ways.

Each week to pray for each minister and church within your section.
Pray for District leadership weekly.
Pray for an awakening and revival in the geographic area of the Northern California and Nevada District.

KidsQuest USA

KidsQuest USA is an outreach ministry of the National Children’s Ministries Agency in partnership with Assemblies of God churches across America. The KidsQuest USA kids crusade is a 3-night event performed using the KidsQuest kit. A one-day children’s ministry training event is also part of KidsQuest USA.
