Senior Adult Ministries

Who Are We?
We are the senior citizens of the Northern California District of the Assemblies of God.

We want to focus on three very unique age brackets: 55-65; 65-75; 75+.  Each of these groups have specific needs that present challenges, heart aches, loneliness, and personal hardships that we hope to address as a District.  We do not want anyone to feel alone as they face this chapter of their lives.

What Do We Do?
We reach out to the seniors of NCN District Council, through camps, seminars, conferences and personal contact with information that is relevant to todays seniors.

Why Do We Do This?
We are very aware that seniors have paved the way for the church that exists today. They have given of their lives, finances, and energy to build our fellowship. We want to honor them and continue to minister to them in a very vibrant way and let them know that they are valued.  As the scripture declares ...“Give honor to whom honor is due”.

When Do We Do This
We currently have four senior’s camps that we co-operate with. Two are held at Casa De Fruita, one at Mount Lassen and one at our Redwood Camp. In addition to the camps,  we want to build conferences, provide group activities, develop “Days of Refreshing”, and create some amazing trips designed just for seniors.
