Assemblies of God
Rev. Abe & Anna Daniel currently serve as the District Student Ministries Director for the Assemblies of God in Northern California and Nevada. As the District Student Ministries Director, (DSMD) they are responsible for the training and development of youth and college pastors and leaders in over 430 churches across Northern California and Nevada.
As the DSMD, Abe’s personal mission is to build “Balanced and Healthy Leaders” in the local church. This is achieved through the ministries three-fold purpose of Modeling, Mentoring and Mobilizing Leaders. In addition to speaking at leadership conferences and regional connections, Abe travels extensively ministering weekly in church services, youth and college services and outreaches speaking to over 20,000 students and leaders annually.
Since serving as the DSMD, Abe has also begun expanding the base of leaders throughout Northern California and Nevada. In 2008, he established a ministry for the next generation of Pastors called Pathway Apprenticeship. Through this ministry, they are taking the graduates of Internships, Schools of Ministry, Bible Institutes, Colleges and Universities and launching them into their calling of full-time ministry. This ministry has successfully planted 23 ministries to date in churches unable to afford a full-time staff member with countless churches on a waiting list.
Abe traces his call to ministry back to a Summer Camp at the age of 12. From that day on, he continued to grow in ministry opportunities under the mentorship of his Pastors. He began pastoral ministry in October of 1994 at the age of eighteen. Since then, he has held a number of different portfolios in the three Northern California churches he has served including: Youth Pastor, Music Pastor, Office Administrator and Interim Senior Pastor.
Abe and Anna have been married since July 1999, and met while attending Bethany College (University). Abe majored in Church Leadership and Anna majored in Social Science graduating in 1999. Anna also completed her Masters of Arts in Education in 2008 and is an English and History teacher at a public middle school.
